How Do I Disable Or Change The Camera/Camcorder Sounds On My SGH-I637 (Jack) Phone?

To change the camera sound settings follow the steps below:

  1. From the home screen, briefly press the Camera key , located in the lower right corner of the keypad, to activate the Camera
  2. Press the key to switch between Camcorder mode  and Camera mode  
  3. Press the right soft key for Menu
  4. Highlight Settings, by pressing the navigation key to the left or right, then press the OK key
  5. With the Photo tab highlighted, highlight Shutter Sound then press the OK key
  6. Highlight the desired Shutter Sound from the following:
    • Shutter 1
    • Shutter 2
    • Shutter 3
  7. Press the OK key to set the Camera Shutter Sound
  8. From the Setup tab, using the navigation keys
  9. Highlight either the Zoom Sound or Brightness Sound then press the OK key
  10. Highlight either On or Off then press the OK key to save the Sound setting
  11. Press the right soft key to return to the Camera

Note: There are no configurable options available to disable the Camera Shutter Sound

To change the camcorder sounds follow the steps below:

  1. From the home screen, briefly press the Camera key , located in the lower right corner of the keypad, to activate the Camera
  2. Press the key to switch between Camera mode  and Camcorder mode  
  3. Press the right soft key for Menu
  4. Highlight Settings, by pressing the navigation key to the left or right, then press the OK key
  5. From the Video tab, highlight Recording Sound, then press the OK key
  6. Highlight the desired Recording Sound from the following:
    • Sound 1
    • Sound 2
    • Sound 3
  7. Press the OK key to save the Camcorder Recording Sound setting
  8. From the Setup tab, using the navigation keys
  9. Highlight either the Zoom Sound or Brightness Sound then press the OK key
  10. Highlight either On or Off then press the OK key to save the Sound setting
  11. Press the right soft key to return to the Camcorder

Note: There are no configurable options available to disable the Camcorder Recording Sound
